Well, last challenge we got mauled because one of our members didn't get his answers in. I heard from one Cenobite he didn't submit any answers because the challenge was "too hard." I say let them take their lumps just as we did last time.

I've actually been trying to make the challenges difficult and interesting, but not impossible unless your a walking movie library difficult. And actually, since there is a theme to all these challenges, they're not that hard if you know where to look. You also get extra time if you figure out the clue that I post the day before.

I've done it this way because I'd rather have a clear winner and not a tie. I want the best team to win and not the whole thing be a game of chance. At the same time, I've tried to also give some power to those who lose so that things don't become completely one sided.

It can still be anyone's game and I hope that people won't stop playing just because it's "too hard". If it was easy, it wouldn't be any fun and it wouldn't be worth anything to win.

We lost fair and sqaure. I don't mind keeping on playing although the tasks are very hard. I'll stay until I die. I was unlucky this time in that I didn't think to check this thread and missed the challenge, and when I did check it, it was too late. Keep going Paps.

I agree with you. I think you're doing a great job. I had only seen a few of these films in the last challenge, yet I was able to find several answers and with my team mates we figured them all out (I think!)

Teamwork people! That's why you're on a team!

Keep up the great work, Ms. Noir!

Thank you. :)

Yeah, I haven't seen all the movies that I make questions about either. I get 99% of my info from the internet. I pick a genre that I like to research and sometimes I've seen quite a few in that group, and sometimes hardly any of them.

And actually in making up these questions, I've discovered movies I knew nothing about before that definitely need watching. Or movies that I haven't seen in ages that deserve another viewing.

At any rate, here are the answers to Challenge# 5: Stephen King

1. What board game are the brother and sister playing?
Monopoly - Children of the Corn

2. What is the significance of the penguin?
Paul knocks is over in one of his trips out while Annie is gone, replaces it the wrong way, which she notices. Annie then hobbles him. - Misery

3. Who gets killed by his wife when she returns home?
Louis Creed - Pet Sematary

4. Where is the Pinto taken for repairs?

7. Who gets a Mickey Mantle card?
Brian Rusk - Needful Things

8. What does Rhea-M do?

9. Who is Chico?
Mort Rainey's dog - Secret Window

10. What is Lot 6?
A drug used by The Shop that alters chromosomes and the pituitary gland - Firestarter

11. What is a Hole in the Wall?
A log cabin - Dreamcatcher

12. What are the two colors in the bathroom where we meet the attendant that's "always been here"?

I agree it's all good.

You are doing a great job and we just didn't do it so we pay the price.

I most likely would've missed this one... unless you said Sandy Koufax. Good looking game Noir, you and _V_ are troopers.
