Vertigo...my third favorite movie of all time.
Hitchcock's masterpiece is scary in a much more permanent, haunting way than his more typical horror films. Instead of a slasher, or a monster movie, Vertigo is a picture about the dangers of obsession, and how tangled emotions can literally wreck a human being in such an irreversable way. A horror movie for sure.
