This is blatantly biased.
Because Paul McCartney is one of the greatest of all time. Just because you play fast metal doesn't mean your any good. I can't remember his name but the dude from Primus is one of the best

Bass is Highly under-rated. And all people want to be is a guitar player because they're soooo fuckin' cool.
Dee Dee Ramone is one of my favourite. Not saying he's one of the best. OH, one of the best bass players EASILY is Brian Ritchies from The Violent Femmes. He can bass solo on your FACE. Just listen to "add it up"
