watched it this afternoon, was pleasantly surprised with it. On the whole a good film, story, effects and characters were good. Glad to see they didnt stray from Riddicks original character. Fight scenes were good along with the CG worlds that created good atmosphere, especially Chrematoria.

I fucking loved it great fighting , acting, story line and vin d. was hot!!! dam he's buff!!! It was even better than I thought it would be!!! :D :D :D :D

Why does everyone hate Vin Diesel? Please, enlighten me on this one.
He is no different from any other buff action actor that has came before him. You think Schwarzenneger can act worth a shit? How about Van Damme? Steven Segal (well, he's not buff, but he is a top notch martial artist that has starred in many action films)? It's not even really about the acting, it's about the actors presence in these types of films, and about their attitude. You are disillusioning yourself if you think otherwise. And Vin Diesel has both. I haven't seen Chronicles yet, but I plan on it, and it looks like a good action flick.
