someone told the authorities, found a knife on him. became big news the 10th (if u notice, on the forum index page it says most members, 12/10 256 members, or some shit)

anyway.. that a lot of members!

Wow!

That's pretty scary, but you know the way some people have talked on here, I have thought of something like that being a possibility.

I would definitely pass on the site, but anonymously.

Don't want everyone I know here. It's where I get to be myself without having to live up to expectations of my job. It is like getting the real me back again!

I also wouldn't want some of the snobs I have come across on other forums taking over this one and ruining it.

yeh. as irrelevant as some of my posts are, i really do get tired of seeing the typical 'what type of funeral do you want' 'whos ur favorite killer', horror shit. ill probably be one of the few on here that thinks this, but i like happy things

as much as i like horror, im not gonna focus mainly on it. i have a lot more interests than just this.

i mean, look at my avatar, thats me. BIG ass smile all the time, and if you are that way too, well that makes 2 of us on this site. mayb a few more

lol thats funny about not having people here at work. but i know what you mean. its nice to be yourself, be weird, be sad, mad.. whatever

as for the snobs.... hmmm, i think i getcha. i dunno, for me, as long as people are having fun, i have no problem. we have the horror topics and we have the non horror ones. funny threads, sad ones. I think its better that way. THere have been people on here that will reply to a tpoic 'this has nothing to do with horror your stupid for posting this' and for me... well i think thats pretty lame. sorry, but i like to talk about other things too!!

Right!

I absolutely agree, I have been enjoying all kinds of conversations on here. Love horror too, but I also have other things to think about. This just happens to be an area of interest that I don't share with a lot of people I know.

Just imagine what the parents of the kids at my day care would think about some of my choices of words on this forum!

Got to be the professional over there!

By snobs, I mean people who think they can disect a movie like no one else and look down on regular movie fans. This is a frustration when you just want to share your thoughts and feelings about a flick.

Anyway it's great to meet so many cool people of all different ages, locations, and nationalities and still find you have a lot in common!

:) There are some cool people here, but if you want new members maby they should not be told to "f**k off", the first time they post, I think that normally turns alot of people off a site!

Oh, i get what your saying. Yeh i hate that too. theres been maybe 1 person that ive seen do that here, and that person is gone lol. so good riddance!

your kids LOL. i keep thinking 'if i ever become famous, all this online shit is really gonna bite me in the ass' but im like ah whatever, i just wont become famous! then i think 'well shit, if i become a cop, this shit WILL bite me in the ass' lol so im screwed either way. anyway, i dont really care what i say. but i have decided to keep the picture posting down to a mi nimum. anyway, out of hundreds of pics i have of myself (digi cam), ive only posted 4 on here. so i guess im ok.

it is interesting though posting here. your right, all the sorts of peopel im meeting and getting along with here, the same people i never EVER interacted with in high school!!!

lol as for the fuck offs, you know i never understood it! the argument always is its annoying when people are lke 'hi love me!' i mean when i joined i just started chatting. but when i do grace the intro thread, along with 1-2 fuck yous there are 4-5 welcomes. i think not only in this forum, but in everyday life too people tend to put more emphasis on the negative than on the positive :/ something that needs to be changed!

There are thing's I like about horror.com so I don't want too put it down, but there are much more welcoming forums ... maby its a bit to do with the lack of horror's (the owner) involvment in the forum!

I really think they should stamp on that nazi crap alot faster as well, if you want to do that go to naziwanker.com or where ever it is you go to post that stuff!

True...

Yeah, I just ignored the fuck off type of comments and got to know the other people.

Fluffho, this is why I hesitate on the picture idea. My kids are pre teens and surf the web a lot. Also I already am eccentric enough. I don't look the part at all. had to work to gain respect, particularily being very blonde, but with brains included!
