I CANNOT BELIEVE i forgot about THE GREEN MILE i LOVE that movie, and i just read the book i am so stupid. sigh.
misery was only an ok movie really it owns nothing, people own it however but thats just different, i own the book which is MILES better if you (Arioch) havent read it and just bought the movie then you should read the book coz its waaaaaay better much more like gore and whatnot, and its just got heaps more stuff in it that has been skipped out of the movie....

i cant say ive seen so many stephen king movies, esp not the older ones

green mile.... what i saw of it, fantastic. and i know the stuff i missed was also great. did that win any awards? and did i mention michael clark duncan kicks ass?

misery... dunno how many versions are out but i saw one on tv starring kathy bates.. that woman is a geinus. i had read the book in about 2-3 hours and surprisingly the movie was very accurate (as least from what i remember)

and many wont agree with me on this one, but i loved dreamcatcher. no i didnt read the book so i cant compare the 2. but i loved the character of Dudditz, the whole story about their childhood days. I love the character of the redhead, the fact that he kept switching between good and evil (for lack of better terms, its been a while).

i also like how fate comes in, not just in this movie but in movies in general. i loved how Dudditz was picked on and though a utistic, what he was saying actually made sense and in the end he ended up being a LOT more than just a mentally retarded kid.

but yeh, like i siad i didnt read the book and from what i heard the book sucked.

i did also like hearts in atlantis (hopkins, come on..), and i read the book after the movie and the movie only covered part of the book. actually, the movie covered the part of the book that i LIKED. the rest o f the book was eh...

Exactly why the movie owns. Kathy Bates COMPLETELY OWNS that role. It follows the book very well, except for the fact that in the book she chops off his foot and soders the wound, where she breaks his legs with a 2x4 and a sledge in the movie. OTHER THAN THAT, its pretty much the book, thats why it owns so much. The movie is quite remarkable, even by normal horror standards, much less when you consider half the crap that Mr. King has subjected us to:rolleyes:
