You really should. I haven't seen to many movies in recent memory that were this fun. Especially as far as holiday movies go.

Ooo, Good call... Can I come?

Possibly one of my favorite Christmas movies, by far.

Other Christmas horror movies:

Black Christmas. Honestly, I've only seen the remake, which I thought was decent... I'm Netflixing the original as I type.

...

I second Gremlins (I love the speech that she makes)...

Quote:
The worst thing that ever happened to me was on Christmas. Oh, God. It was so horrible. It was Christmas Eve. I was 9 years old. Me and Mom were decorating the tree, waiting for Dad to come home from work. A couple hours went by. Dad wasn't home. So Mom called the office. No answer. Christmas Day came and went, and still nothing. So the police began a search. Four or five days went by. Neither one of us could eat or sleep. Everything was falling apart. It was snowing outside. The house was freezing, so I went to try to light up the fire. That's when I noticed the smell. The firemen came and broke through the chimney top. And me and Mom were expecting them to pull out a dead cat or a bird. And instead they pulled out my father. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. He'd been climbing down the chimney... his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck. He died instantly. And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.
...

BRILLIANT.

...

And I think the original Die Hard deserves a mention, though not horror per say, it IS an atypical Christmas movie.

...

I tried to Netflix Silent Night, Deadly Night, but it doesn't seem to be in the database.

"Santa's Slay" actually had some redeeming things about it. Fun, light pseudo-horror entertainment.

The original is a great film. You won't regret it.

Yes, definitely.......Die Hard certainly deserves a mention here because technically, it is a Christmas film. Not your usual one, certainly!

It would be a very twisted thing to watch on Christmas day. I generally watch a George Romero zombie flick, myself. It's tradition.

I know.....I've been meaning to watch it forever, and finally got around to trying to add it, not there. And yes, definitely watch the original Black Christmas as soon as possible. A damn fine horror film. The remake is shameful, shameful I say! Haha....;)

Oh and we had lots of fun with Santa's Slay as well, just watched it a few weeks ago.
