I don't know if I'd call it the best movie of the decade, but it's pretty incredible.
It's by Michael Haneke, who did Funny Games and The Piano Teacher (not to mention this year's Cannes Palme d'Or winner The White Ribbon).
It's another meta-film experiment, but this time that's much more deep-rooted within the work, not punch-you-in-the-face-with-it like Funny Games. The study isn't the abstraction itself, but the drama created by the filmmaker's manipulation (kind of like The Birds).

I would certainly big-time recommend it. There's one scene in particular that will make your mouth drop.

It just means the decade we're in now. Nought, as in 0.

This list makes me want to vomit with rage. What a shitty decade. Not as bad as the 90s, but at least back then the list of movies would be better. Also, shitty list. Way to go Times Online. Kill yourselves.

Interesting list, glad I've seen far more off this list than the 100 worst of the decade.

Thoughts on the list

I think The Dark Knight and Memento could've very well been top 10

Minority Report at 26, Cassino Royale at 9, and Team America at 5 I don't think should have been nearly as high.

Borat at 11 I didn't really like but since everyone else ate it up 11s fair.

No Country For Old Men at 3 surprised me more than anything, I really liked this movie but didn't think it would be anywhere close to 3.

I thought Hidden was a damn good film but doesn't deserve #1
