Your sense of taste and smell seem superhuman after a week or two.

Have you started coughing up a bunch of shit yet? I quit about 2 years ago, three days after I quit all kinds of stuff started coming loose in my lungs.

I wasnt a heavy smoker maybe 12-15 on a normal day but at least twice that if I went out drinking. Not smoking whilst having a few beers is tough but you'll find ways of compensating, like drinking more!

No great revelations about how life changed, just had some more money in my pocket and the house/clothes smell cleaner. Apparently your sense of taste and smell improve after quitting but I didnt notice anything. I do feel better for it though.

Obviously speaking from experience, but it made no difference for me. At least as I could tell anyways.

Because you're absolutely spectacular to look at, and people would rather admire your awesomeness while you're living.

And cancer is kindof a turn off.

Yeah if you quit, your lungs and breath will be very happy--and they'll return you the favor with better health.

As I quit once at my college days just for a month I think It may take only a week to adjust with the new habit of 'no smoking'. It'll feel you good...everybody will appreciate you in your new thread..."And at last I quit smoking!":D

The nicotine addiction goes out of your system extremely quickly, the problem is always the habit of sticking a cig in your mouth thats the hardest to break.

There may be certain times you always smoke and although you dont need it anymore, you're so use to it that you want to. Quitting can be a total routine breaker.
