"how soon is now" - the smiths ... always sounded like something from a horror soundtrack to me
"bela lugosi's dead" is a good one .. i guess the people who made The Hunger agreed "hey man nice shot" - filter - again i wasnt alone thinking this - i've heard it in 2 movies now more human than human - RZ ... yet again - used in movies already

You should definitely add Iron Maidens "Still life" inspired by a short horror story called "Genius Loci" http://www.eldritchdark.com/writings...78/genius-loci , Clark Ashton Smith (1893-1961).
And when you've done reccording it, you should write the script for a movie adaption, coz it could be big. ;)
