Bad Moon looks pretty badass. I have to get hold of a copy. Thanks, Newb. :)

I ll check out the other 3 too. Thanks, Manchestr. Quote:
I read somewhere that they used up a pretty sizeable budget in the movie, and also Peter Hyams was not that bad. But now I ll stay clear of that one till I have nothing better to watch. And Q getting a second thumbs-up...it's into my list of watches, for sure. :) Quote:
Watched Gremlins one too many times. I think I ll skip it for this one. Thanks anyway. Quote:
Plenty of good recs already. Keep em coming, folks!

Hmm...The Deep wasn't exactly horror. They as in Wes Craven? Seen it long time ago, and I dont remember much of it. Puppet Master is not exactly a creature flick either. Pumpkinhead is good...the sequel should make it into my final list. (watched the original at least 2-3 times)

The first post where I said I liked Komodo was edited because I double-posted. The film was scary and I really liked it! ;) I'll edit my last post.
V, Dark Night of the Scarecrow is a made-for-TV movie that scared me. I think I'll add it to my queue. It's not really funny, but you might consider it cheesy. What genre(s) do The Deep and Puppetmaster belong in if they aren't creature movies? Just curious...:) I know they aren't monsters but to me, they were creepy. |

The Deep is more like an adventure/thriller flick, if you are talking about the Nick Nolte one. It would be miscategorising it to call it horror, or a creature movie. I always thought Puppet Master was an idea which sprung up after the success of Child's Play. Technically they arent creatures, but "little buggers." Scary dolls never entertained me much though.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up, V. :) Sorry I put King Kong on my list. I just started adding creature flicks without even thinking.

http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1808396041/cast I'm a bit confused since the Jurassic Park movies weren't low budget and Jaws was great, too. I think Arachnophobia did pretty well, didn't it? Ok, I'll shut up now. :) Last edited by Nella; 10-31-2008 at 07:19 AM. Reason: Clarification and spelling errors... |

Dagon, Creepshow, Slither...3 good ones. Slither is worth a re-watch too. Good reminders.

Brain Damage (you know which one) I'm sure I'll think of a crap load more later.
