I would be telling this woman to fuck off.

Schools and preschools don't want children coming in when they are sick, because they know that the end result is that everyone else gets infected.

And it really annoys me to see people putting children in care when they aren't working. I can't see the point in having children if you avoid looking after them yourself at any opportunity.

It's a different matter if you have to work - but to put a child in care on a regular basis just so that you can hang out with your friends etc is pretty hopeless. Why have a child if this is how much time you want to spend with them?

In the end - is it worth infecting your child (and probably yourself and your wife in the end) for $4 an hour?

I would alos liek to mention that Bree has worked off and on as a professional nanny for 10 year sand has a degree in psuychology, and this chick is paying her roughly $4 an hour... and tires to gip her wherever she can.
I know that's not much money. I'm not sure where you live but my friend in Lubbock, Texas had a babysitter who expected over $5 an hour ten or fifteen years ago! I couldn't afford to pay that much. Some people only make whatever minimum wage is to start with (I think it's $5.15 per hour now). This girl knew that my friend had inherited money so she took advantage of her. Well, I can understand the sitter asking for that much for two kids plus another lady's kid. I just had one and we usually needed that girl so we could go out occasionally on the weekend. Anyway, I shouldn't have been going out to start with. I miss that time with my son...(I never took him to daycare if I wasn't working or going to college.) Sorry to ramble. I hope your wife gets rid of that woman and that your family doesn't get too ill. And another thing...that lady should be glad to have your wife keeping her child. It's hard to find someone you can trust to keep your kids when you're away.

Well, its over. Bree isnt going to watch the kid anymore, which sucks because she was Lily's friend. Get this, the cow hung out for 40 minutes after showing up to pick up her kid, even though she has been told repeatedly that the time she gets to the house, Bree needs to start making dinner so we can eat when I get home. We have a pretty structured bedtime routine for Lily, because its good for kids and it gives me a chance to actually spend some time with her after work (which is the only time I see her ion a work day except for a few minutes in the morning), but anyway, she stayed for 40 minutes.

then, i cant remember why, but Bree and lily had to go in the other room, and this is when the lady decides its time to leave, slips the money she owes bree under a pumpkin in our living room, then takes off as fast as she can, the texts bree that she didnt want to talk about the shit that they have needed to talk about in front of the girls (and they NEVER see each other without them so when the fuck were they going to talk?). On a side note, bree asked her to stop texting her because we paid 6 bucks last month to recieve text messages from this chick.

Bree was livid, not only did she once again ignore what she was asked to do because her cheap ass is costing us money, but she slipped the money under something and snuck out... which is pathetic.

Sounds like you will be better off without this hassle.

Shit, working 1.5 hours to pay for the woman's text messages? Something wrong with that...
