Was? It IS one of my favourites. Absolutely loved it! A shame Tobe Hooper never got to direct it, could have been even beter. My favourite line is:

"You look good enough to eat"

This movie was pretty cool. :D

I don't remember how or when I got this movie. It just appeared one day. Weird.

but yeh great film ranks among my favorite late 70s early 80s US hillbilly orientatated horror flicks along with Tobe Hooper's Eaten Alive, Deranged & Tourist Trap. So many classic moments in Motel Hell!

Deffinately not! Ive seen a few where the screen goes red, Snowbeast (released by Vipco in UK) and Driller Killer.

No, there was a movie with a similar name.... "Motel (something) and it was horrible), almost zero special effects and totally boring.

I hope you're not referring to "Inn Of The Damned". That was weak, retarded shit. No special effects, weak fight scenes.... I'd rather watch the crappy remake of "Psycho" again than to watch that garbage.
