I have enjoyed all the Saw films. Obviously the first more so than the rest just due to it being so new and original. I think the story has been developing and growing throughout the films brilliantly and the 4th left me with many questions I hope will be answered in the 5th. Normally I get bored after a second film but will watch the 3rd after that I am no longer interested, Saw has kept me interested and eager to see more.

I thought the timing of 4 was great because it didn't push itself too far past 3 and now a sequel can play off the events of both films.

Exactly!
The timing is damned great.
You watch 4 expecting to get further along and allow the story travels greatly you are really still back at 3, leaving you still wanting to see more, know more.
For me 3 and 4 lead brilliantly up to 5 and I just cannot wait for more.
