I like The Other a lot, but I wasn't really surprised by the ending. Of course I saw it fairly recently. The book is good too.

I didn't see the ending of Saw coming, but since I apparently found it more funny than anything (yes, I laughed) it wasn't particularly effective.

The Sixth Sense and The Others, I didn't see either of the endings coming there, I admit. But I wasn't really trying to. I try really hard to not look for the twist. Doesn't always work, but I try.

As much as I dislike the movie The Village caught me off guard. So did The Mist.

***SPOILER***
I didn't expect Paxton from Hostel to die in the beginning of the sequel. Not sure if that can be considered a twist but it was unexpected.

and yeah - the book is excellent. incredible considering it was written by a 'b' movie actor.

Wow... you've been here a while and only amassed 8 posts. Now THAT'S a twist!
I even like some films that have twists you do expect or see coming, like Unbreakable.

I can't come up with any apart from some which were already mentioned- Sixth Sense and The Others both had me for a while (unfortunately I had those figured out before the "reveal", but I still got the effect). There are a couple non-horror films that duped me also - like Fight Club and A Beautiful Mind...
