I've actually only seen the original Dirty Harry - none of the sequels - but I'm pumped to hear about this anyway.

Go Clint go!

I'm a bit unsure about this current trend of aging actors reprising their roles as action heroes. It's like when rock bands reform after many years of silence, and hope to relive their former glories by touring or releasing new material... It may hold a certain nostalgic appeal to some of the audience, but it also kind of kills off the special magic associated with their classic era and seems contrived.

it'd be ok if the aging was integral to the plot - but that only works so many times too.

i always actually hoped for another dirty harry. done right - he could pull it off.
as long as he gets a smaller gun that wont break his wrist when he shoots it
