it's probably the most non-metal music ever.. very folky, american feel but he's amazing technically and his stuff just rolls. no singing usually.

Thumbs up

I heard some samples on Best Buy's site for him. Sounds pretty good. I'll have to go buy his greatest hits and check him out.

True only because I can't afford to buy another one.

Wow, that is freaky. So were you just referring to his arrangements? Or are there actual recordings of him from the 18th century? It seems like there wouldn't be any recording instruments in the 1700s, but maybe they did.
No im pretty sure its all arrangements:( Too bad huh? we can only hear some composers as arrangements and never hear how they would have played their own compositions. All the little nuances and shit that really made them great. Kinda makes me sad, ahh well...

I agree. The fact Segovia's recordings have such terrible sound quality piss me off. I can't even imagine his true power if he had modern technology to recrod all the sounds from his guitar.

Beethoven still is the king. I can't imagine writing what he did. Much less the fact he was deaf when he wrote a lot of what he did. That is mind blowing to think. He couldn't hear and didn't have sound recording equipment to help him out in recording is writing and arrangements. He's the king in my eyes.

Agreed. He was the shit, to do all that he did is by itself insane, but when you consider that he did it deaf its just amazing.
