If you take into consideration that Romero created the zombie sub-genre we know today, and infused his films with much more than just what's on the surface... (Read up on Night, and just how symbolic and metaphoric that film is in the context of when it was released. You'll notice it's about a whole lot more then just zombies.) I really don't think it's possible to get any better.

I agree with Rod, I'm looking forward to Diary of the Dead more then Months.

Wow, great. I'll be looking forward to this! The first two were excellent. Wonder if they'll be following it up with 28 YEARS LATER?? :D ZOMBIES IN THE FUTURE!

28 Weeks Later was significantly better than the original. I just hope - BEYOND HOPE - that the third movie doesn't suck.

That would make me murderous.

ChronoGrl, I TOTALLY agree with you!! "Weeks" was definitely better, in my opinion. A lot of people still prefer the first.

I think you really need to see "Weeks" 3 or 4 times before it sinks into you, you know?

I came away convinced that Weeks was better, right after my first viewing of it.

Can't wait for 28 Ions Later.

I like 28 Weeks better than days after my first viewing too. 28 Days was phenomenal, but weeks was way more exciting and kept me interested. Plus the way it was filmed and some of the shots were amazing.

I don't know... Honestly, the opening scene to 28 Weeks was just so incredibly shocking that it got my immediate attention... I'd be surprised if people didn't "get it" after the first viewing... And the movie simply didn't quit. I thought that it was so incredibly well done - The scenes were significantly more intense than the first movie (BIG problem I had with the first movie - I thought that the few intense scenes it had were just simply too short); the second film's intensity just had... so much more... stamina. And I'm a girl that needs stamina.
