with honorable mentions to Shaun of the Dead, In The Mouth of Madness and a very special nod to Pan's Labyrinth - not horror, but horrific and wonderful.

Hatchet? Is that new? Or like a Masters of Horror or something? I've never heard of it.

Adam Green's new slasher flick that has been kicking ass on the festival circuit. Kane Hodder, Robert Englund, Tony Todd...it's perfectly simple and obviously made by a fan.

There's a thread about it in the "Upcoming Horror" section - I'm surprised you haven't heard of it.http://www.horror.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26768

I'm a member of the HATCHET ARMY and have my "Hatchet Army" T-shirt
