Hey folks, I was a little short earlier...I was really tired. The heat here has been incredible over the last 4 days, and there's been HUGE bushfires right near my area, they delayed us from getting back from our holidays. When we caught the train home we saw just how extensive the damage was...to put it lightly, HUGE. Arson (again) suspected...cunts...then got back to find out my cat phantom was supposedly missing which wasn't exactly the best news to come home to...we found him though, hiding IN a lounge like a fuckin' ninja. Turns out he doesn't much like it when we're not around.

Anyways, all is well now - thanks for the wishes for everyone who posted 'em.., Just, my frame of mind when I came back was a bit shithouse.

For whoever asked, I prepared my/our dinner (we spent this b'day with my dad and his people) which was financed by them. All with farm fresh produce...very nice...The girl and I made my "stones ginger wine" thai green curry, well, I've been ordered to say that I actually did most but yknow she chopped 'n stuff...One large dish of regular heat and strength done with chicken and capsicum, and another extra strong/hot with some very lean, very fresh beef, carrot and mushrooms. Spanish onion in both.
No "pretty" garnishes, just some crunchy beansprouts, snow peas, and spring onions on top, and lots of fresh veggies inside either. Had plain rice, AND nasi goreng with it that the girl made.
Dessert, the girl got a whole fuckload of fresh fruits, and made a lightly spiced ganache' for all of that...
But yeah, all good, fresh stuff, lots of drinks going round the whole time...got into some FINE-ass french brandy (which I incidentally used the next day to make a pepper and grilled mushroom brandy/cream flambe'd sauce to go with a mixed grill my dad threw together....there was brains too! Gewd stuff, the sauce was fuckin' excellent, one of those things I can do pretty well, but yeah, the b'day it was lots of curry, lots of chocolate, lots of drinks some good weed, a few "moments" but ultimately it was all good.
I got some cowboy mixer alcohol as a gift, LOTS of mint chocolate, big bottle of stones, a 70's bong (not in style, actually FROM then) of my dads that I've admired for some time, some weed supplies, a black rock ear stud (after repiercing my ear) and some time away...
Good b'day, bit of a fucked return, and right now I'm just chilling....finally relaxed...

Again, don't bother. Get over the fact that somebody in this world doesn't like you and stick to talking to those that want to talk to you, assuming you can find any. Bye now.

Damn, cheeba, that made me hungry! It all sounds wonderful. I love reading your descriptions of foodie items. Yumyumyumyum...

Sorry if this is a dumb question or if I'm overlooking something obvious, but what is a big bottle of stones and does it have anything to do with your "stones ginger wine"?

Anyway, glad you had a good birthday and glad you found your kitty. :)

Yup...One and the same.
The girly got it for me, 'cos I love to both drink it, and cook with it.
Really nice stuff, great mixer, or straight.
Should be available to you from your local cellars, if not, definately worth trying to ship.
