i always dug the place of the dj in the movie. i just think it was a cool vehicle for some what of a narration. great movie.

It's too bad this movie is overlooked so much, it really is one of Carpenter's better pieces.
And yes, soundtrack is awesome. The piano chords are spooky. |

Also put it down for one of my favorite horror movies. Although some of the effects look cheap, the story and everything else makes up for it. I even liked this more than The Thing. ;)
