Debts paid.
Some kind of small to medium sized dwelling, some land to my name....place with a nice kitchen.
Buy a nice large hydroponics setup.
A LOT of cookbooks.
Buy and restore an S series valiant, add modern fittings.
New pc, any gaming console I wanted at the time.
Take my family and friends out someplace really nice, buy at least a few rounds...get mebbe a couple pounds of weed, share plenty.
Set a longterm deposit account for my brother, even if only initially say 20k or thereabouts.
Invest half of the rest, probably initially govt. bonds, and reasearch investment, give the other half to charities that go towards wildlife preservation and cancer research.

You know I've never really understood that...

Honestly what makes it so rude to wear a hat inside?

When I was young, they taught me three inappropriate times to wear hats:

1.) At the dinner table. I don't bother with this one. Tons of people wear hats when they eat.

2.) At church/during prayer. Not a Christian; doesn't apply.

3.) During the playing of the National Anthem. I'm not the most patriotic guy in the world, but I do observe this one.

I have noticed that most people 15+ years older than me have a habit of removing their hats when they walk inside. I just don't think it's considered rude like it once was. The only younger people I see remove their hats inside anymore are in the military.

dunno - whatever at one point a society deems something respectful.
just the way i was raised .. or my generation was.

it was always a sign of politeness and respect to doff ones hat indoors - as it was to doff it before a lady outdoors.

maybe its an extinct practice now ..

but there are probably examples of things that you do now out of habit/years of training that you dont question .. and if you did you'd probably not understand them either..
