Actually, I loved the Descent, but I see where you're coming from.

What she did to Juno was unnecessary and flat-out not believable. No one could do that to another person, or at least not someone of her character.

Juno purposely got them trapped down there, without a map. Therefore its her fault everyone got killed.

Also she was having an affair with the main characters husband.

Therefore, Juno deserved a lot more pain and suffering.

Well, okay, now here's a sane man's opinion:

That chick had to go out of her way to kill Juno, but she didn't just stab her or anything...she punctured her leg and left her to be eaten.

Not only was it an out-of-character thing to do, it was just unnecessary.

But now I'll let you go back to your "kill, kill, kill" train of thought.

i dont think it was too out of character for the main character. she just went through a lot. plus she probably thought that juno killed that one girl on purpose. plus the affair could of broke her and she wanted revenge.
i liked what she did.

WRONG. She punctured her leg yes, but she did that because she deserved it for fucking her husband, and getting all their friends killed because of her insane thrill seek and purposeful sabotage of their cave diving. However, she didnt leave her to be "eaten" she gave her a weapon, and a CHANCE (slim yes, but still a chance) to fight with that weapon for her life.

You know NOTHING about me, I'm perfectly sane thanks. I don't go around murdering people, I just like horror movies, which should feature something along the lines of blood, killing and perhaps people acting out of character.

I'd like to see the person who acted "in" character, after your spouse and child is killed, you learn that your "best" friend was having sex with your spouse. You've gone cave diving and that same "best" friend took them to an un-explored DANGEROUS cave, with NO map, and then all your friends get eaten by strange creatures that are after you too.

Fair enough, you win. I've been thinking about it, and I guess it's justifiable.

Apologies about the sanity remark, I was a little grumpy this morning.

You didn't like it when Juno died? You're supposed to feel bad about it- that's the point.

You said you enjoyed the film. It wouldn't have been the same if Juno had lived.

It is just this sort of hyper-sensitive belly-aching that caused the US distributors to change the original ending to make it "happier"

Lame

The thing is....if Jane's husband hadn't been distracted by thinking about his whore Juno in the car-he wouldn't have killed himself and Jane's daughter in the car crash.
When Jane at the end dangled the necklace her husband gave to Juno...I was ROOTING for her to do something and then WHAM! The pick went right into her leg-it was awesome.
You all are men or boys I gather so maybe it would seem odd for Juno to get killed....but for any female who's been betrayed-it was just something we WISH we could do ,once an affair is found out.
