Some music video for "Cobra Starship".....at any rate it's worth it for the voice-over at the beginning!

Now, just in case anybody really cares, this is what I understand happened to make "Snakes on a Plane" the way it is:

1. The film's working title (the temporary title it had while it was being filmed because they couldn't think of a real title for it) was actually "Snakes on a Plane." They intended to replace that title with a real title when they figured out what to call the movie for real.

2. Someone told someone else that a really awful film called "Snakes on a Plane" was being made and word started circulating. Thanks to Ed Wood, and the public's fascination with bad movies (can you blame 'em?), the film became much talked about on the internet and the public looooooved the working title because it sounded so funny.

3. The studio, realizing that, for better or worse, the public was now familiar with the film under that title, decided to keep the title and cash in on the (probably tremendous) word-of-mouth advertising--but not only that! They decided to amplify the film's bad elements to make it appeal more to the camp/bad movie crowd.

4. Reshoots were ordered, including a scene of Samuel Jackson ranting out some dialogue that goes something like, "We got motherfuckin' snakes on this plane, and there's not a motherfuckin' thing we can do about it!!"

And so movie history is made!

Well....movies are an amusement. People go and see movies to enjoy themselves, to have fun. If watching a silly movie about snakes on a plane sounds like a good time, then, why not?

I think going to a movie that everyone understands is "bad" is a better bet than going to see some piece of garbage they're trying to convince you is "good."

Finally, Ed Wood has hit the big time. The public is recognizing the entertainment value of bad cinema.

I would go watch "Turds in a Bowl" if Samuel L. was in it.
He never fails to entertain me.

So tell me...Am I insane that even after what she did to me, I not only feel sorry for her, but wonder if I could've prevented it?
No. You're not insane, you're just a decent human being with a good heart. But I really feel for you on wondering if you're crazy to still care about the well being of someone who hurt you. (And for what it's worth, I don't think there's anything you could have done to prevent it. We all make our own choices, and bear the sole responsibility for them.)

I was engaged to a guy who had been in an abusive relationship. About three months before our wedding (which beats the hell out of three months after!) he ended up going back to try again with is ex. He called me about a month later saying she hadn't changed and wanting to get back together.

Twice over the past year he's gotten in touch with me and been very upset/unhappy. It makes me feel a gut-wrenching emotional cocktail of sorrow and pity. I wish I could either hate him outright or feel nothing towards him. Part of me still loves him, but in the words of the immortal Hank Hill: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice and I'm kickin' your ass!" :p

Ah-hahaha! Me too. He was actually the only thing that made the movie Sphere worth watching to me.

"Snakes on a Plane" isn't so so bad.
"Snacks on a Plane" - now that would be scary. Those little bags of nuts taste like complete shit. And you don't get anywhere near enough to satisfy any sort of hunger.

Aaaaand moving back to the mice problem....How about Cats on a Plane.

If you have allergies or don't like cats: Fuck you, it's better than having mice causing disasterous airline crashes and mice shit in your oxygen masks.
