Not quite horror, but it could fit in this category: THRILLER -- a cruel picture

A Swedish film originally released in 1974 and more recently released on DVD in 2004, this is a tale of a young girl's solo mission of violent revenge on those that had wronged her. A victim of sexual assault as a small girl, she later as a teen is forced into prostitution by a man who had simply, but with sinister intentions, only promised her a ride into town. At the same time, she is held hostage because she is also forced into becoming a heroin addict. When "customers" come to call, the movie switches to hardcore sex scenes (no faces, different actors). The revenge part comes as the girl saves up the share of money she gets to secretly steal away and get trained in firearms, car handling, and martial arts to punish with extreme prejudice all those that abused her and escape her bondage.

I've seen this once and it was very... interesting. The shootouts are in VERY slow motion and weren't very well done. I wasn't that impressed with this movie but it's one of those that can be very funny with the right people watching it with you. Some parts were pretty rough though.

I could see it being remade in a bit of a faster, more mainstream pace with Angelina Jolie...

They would have to tone it down a lot though, the unedited version had some pretty hardcore scenes.
