I haven't seen anything at the theatres worthy of Oscar [ i don't get to the picture films much ] but i would like to see Philip Seymore Hoffman get best actor for Capote. Only because he has always been a favorite of mine and he did get some great reviews for this film.

I'd rather see a powerful,well made film than a remake that did no more or less than the original.
You didn't think Phoenix did just as good as job as Foxx? Kong will get nominations in art direction and MAYBE director,also maybe a few of the technical and set categories. (Just opinions,not arguing)

It Happened One Night sweep the oscars Kong's year, it wasn't even nominated for anything.

It probably/definatly wont be up for any of the major awards, but Sin City will likely get at least a nom. for Visual Effects.
