Ugh! How many of you are sharing that same body?

In these paedophilic times (source: the tabloid press), more adult/child nakedness is under scrutiny than ever before - so these suspicions are not out of the ordinary.

Suppose we would all like to think we could tell the difference between a picture that is right and one that is not right... but its a tricky issue, since there are so many bored and outraged attention-seekers keen to exploit innocuous photos to be part of something (i.e. the busting of the "paedo" in question) and excuse themselves from the innocent family lives they might affect in the name of "you can't be too careful".

From the Renaissnace onward, artists have been using the naked body as a focal point for their work. Artists have long viewed the human body as a work of art. Look at that famous piece by Da Vinci... can't think of the title, but it's the one with the naked man standing spread eagle.

That's the one. I couldn't remember the name. It's kinda sad too, really. That's my background on my computer.

Good points everyone...I guess it's good that I don't understand the way people think about things like this, because if I understood it, I'd be just as closed minded as they are. If I had a baby, and I took a bath with him/her, I'd be highly pissed if someone accused me of being involved in "child pornography", or said I was doing ANYTHING wrong for that matter. I don't want to raise my kids to be ashamed of themselves, or to think they need to freak out at the site of nude person.

I agree with you Marroe..it appears that
alot of things are just taken way out of context now..
a father in the bath with his baby..how cute..
but ..it has nothing to do with any church at all nowdays..
its actually technology and societies fault
for this type of reaction..
blame the paedephiles..blame technology for allowing sick bastards to film themselves raping young babies and children..
blame the fucks who happily take shots of the kid they had just kidnapped in naked poses..
most of all...blame the public ..who actually go out of thier way to purchase this shit for their own entertainment or enjoyment..which ever..
The 2 ladies are not to be blamed for thier reaction.
I dont think it was the nudity shot that shocked them..it wouldve been seeing an adult in the bath with a baby..
How is anyone to really know that was a father and baby shot...
Too many times the public had seen the warning signs n had done nothing to prevent it.
Maybe this shot was as innocent as predicted..but what if the next one isn't.
Well ..thats my 2 cents worth anyway. :o

I agree trip'

When i was young..my brothers and i bathed together..we wore undies of course but amongst other family members..it was considered wrong..
we were a whole 2..8 and 11..:D
When i grew up i was in a culture group
and we went on tours around the country
at all times of the night ..
sometimes we all had to drop clothes right there on the bus to change into our uniforms..men and woman,,nobody ever gave anybody else a second glance..
I hate wearing tops..i spend alot of my time walking around the neighbourhood in just my jeans and sports bra..
and em well known for going shopping in just my jeans..bra and a black open jacket.
Some ppl point and stare..like the other day when some guy just dropped his jaw..but i was like..
what..haven't u seen tits before..??
or cant u remember wot yo' mama's looked like!!!
But its sad ..just how politically correct society has become lately.

You make some good points there, trip. As for myself, I'm far too self-conscious to go around naked, but if there were a law on the books that would allow one to do so, I'd support it. I've mentioned this before, but I think (in the States, at least) that it all goes back to Puritanism, the most deadly and inhuman system of belief that ever existed. Our society's strict and moralistic view of sex and nudity can all be laid at the feet of these witch-hunters. It's an influence that we apparently can't escape, four hundred years later.

Great point. I used to think that in other countries, all of the "too hot for TV" stuff was a joke, but nope, it's real. They really do have naked people on regular TV in some other countires, and it's just a normal thing to them, which it should be....but here it's "shocking" and "too hot for TV". This country has a lot of issues we need to work on.
See thats what I was mainly referring to. Why is it that people freak out, and get so offended over a naked (not in a pornographic way) on TV, or in pictures? They want to cover their childrens eyes, and start protests, and sue people over shit like this. People make a big deal about a perfectly natural thing...to me it's just like making a big deal about a tree (I dont know if that makes sense...?)
The thing about "you can't be too careful" about the children stuff I can understand...there are definitely some sick fucks out there we gotta watch out for, but not everything should be taken that way...such as a parent in the bathtub with their baby. Can you imagine getting your child taken away from you for something like that? It happens.

I came back from my lunch break today, and the 2 women that were covering me asked me to come over to the computer to check out this picture, so of course I did. I smiled and said "yeah, thats really cute". The picture was of a daddy and his probably 6-8 month old baby boy in the bathtub...it was just adoreable, rubber ducky's and all. Well turns out that they didn't want me to see it because they thought it was cute, they were asking another opinion on whether to report it or not. Of course most everyone knows that in photofinishing if we see anything questionable, child pornography, rape, beatings, murder, hate crimes, ect. that we have to report it to athorities. I just looked at them both like they were fucking insane and it took the store manager to agree with me that they were being ridiculous before they let it go.
At my job the photo techs have the right to not print ANYTHING we find personally offensive. One of the women won't print anything with nudity... Not an ass cheek, a boob, nothing. Now I can't say a damn thing to her about it because apparently she finds these things "personally offensive" Me, on the other hand, I'll print anything but pornograhy...some will argue, but I just can't see nudity alone as "pornograhy". My question from all of this is, what the fuck is wrong with people? Why is nudity so "wrong"? When did a daddy and his baby in a bath tub together become "child pornography"? Personally I think it's sweet. Even my own Mother has tried making a deal about this with me recently. On Christmas my Grandparents were talking about some of my photos, and my mom butts in and says "Oh, did you know Heather does nude photos of people too?", like it was gonna get me in trouble or some shit. I have no problems taking nude photographs of people. They can be really beautiful, yeah? Why does this have to be an issue? Why can't I understand it? WHY DO PEOPLE SEEM TO BE AFRAID OF NUDITY?!?! Of course I'm not saying that we all should run around naked all the time, that would be crossing some lines that I WOULD understand....but I just don't get why some people are how they are about it.

I'll bet it has something to do with the Catholic church:eek:
I think that's really sad that people would think that way. Insane is the only word that comes to mind.
