I liked the TV Shining better too, not that the other one was bad by ANY means but it was just so much closer to the book. Anyway, I know they're supposed to remake Evil Dead and I've come to terms with that but I REALLY don't want them to remake Army of Darkness.

Well, now that I've seen the new KING KONG, I really wish they hadn't made it. Thought it was awful! The script could have been a lot better than what they went with. Jack Black was terribly miscast. Movie is too long, even though it looks great with fantastic effects.
It did feature lots of monsters, which generally speaking were very well done and scary. But I thought the movie was a poo poo. Sorry, Peter Jackson! Lord of the Rings was far, far better IMO.

When I was little I wanted to be a makeup artist (still might try), but today, they don't use as many creaters and artists because it's all done by computer. I mean movies look more "real," but some of the magic is gone. Although I will say that zombies have evolved nicely.
