I am not really sure whether or not he did what he was accused of. My understanding is the evidence was pretty overwhelming.
Are justice system is dismal failure IMO. Our corrections system is even worse. If you break the law you should be punished not sent to some damn country club. What we need to do is take people that cant fit in to society and put them in a Escape from New York type situation. Or better yet the Running Man. Punishment should fit the crime, lets say you throw your kid against the wall and break his neck and he dies. Here is your punishment. We strap your sorry ass to a wrecking ball and slam it into a building, see how you like it.:eek: Seriously, make them sit in a room with pictures of their victims and nothing else and let them look at what they did for the rest of their lives. but in the grand scheme of things.....

I cannot stand those asshole actors/rappers out there who try and pull shit like they did with Tookie Williams. "It's an injustice!" Whatever! You know if it was Snoop Dog's kid, brother, sister or whoever he wouldn't be preaching about Tookie's reform. He would be getting all of his moron friends together to preach about how violence like this is unjustified. We would hear all about his family's suffering and blah, blah, blah...

heres a recent article in our paper..
understand that this is the 5th within the past few weeks.. before this ..an innocent old man ..out doing his shopping was stabbed to death by a robber who had been foiled.. 2 days later ..another innocent man ..walking thru a scenic drive was whacked over the head with an axe..wrong place..wrong time.. a 14 yr old getting his kicks ..struggles with a rock and dumps it over the motorway bridge..smashing thru the windshield of an innocent man..killing him instantly..causing his passenger..(pregnant fiancee) to try and control the car before it smashed into the barriers. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/st...ectID=10359884

My mom was telling me that Jamie Foxx was on T.V yesterday saying something like "You can't kill Tookie....it's my birthday today! Please don't kill Tookie on my birthday"....umm...WTF? Cause Jamie Foxx is the authority we should all be listening to in a case like this...besides which, I never knew J.F's birthday was a day to be honored with the utmost importance:rolleyes:
I'll try and forgive him, b/c he seems like a great actor/singer/all around good guy...but that comment was LAME.

I don't care how many kid's books you've written, how you've found Jesus, how you've suddenly turned your life around, etc. Nothing is going to bring those people back. You want to set an example for not taking the paths in life you did ? Congratulations. You just set it. My personal belief in the death penalty is the only thing that seperates me from being considered a liberal.
