Kelsey Grammer as Beast!?

Actually, the more I think of it, that seems pretty appropriate. I do hope that Colossus will get a little more screen time though. He was always one of my favorite X-Men, so it was a little disappointing to see him get the short end of the stick. I'm also glad that they've decided to film the Dark Phoenix storyline, one of the greatest stories in X-Men history. Let's hope it turns out well in the movie.

Kelsey Grammar is definitely a nice touch in the casting. Multiple Man and Jubilee are interesting ideas. I think Gambit's partially not being included because of Anna Paquin's choices as Rogue. The heat between her and Gambit needs to be from a more mature Rogue, and ignoring the interplay between the two characters would be a shame. I think they want to develop Rogue more before bringing him in. Not to mention it's kind of a tough casting call.

The trailer has been released but I dunno about you guys but it looks like the Terminator war is going on in the background.
I hope they don't change the story as much like they did in X2, you know change the Wolvrine story and slightly change Jean's story.

I think that the team should do what I think they should for the next spidy film (Spider-man 4) is get a new older cast, for X4, keep Hugh of course since he's not meant to age and DR. X aswell since he's such a great actor.

the "producers"felt he(Gambit)was to similar in character to Wolverine to be included.Vincent Cassel would make a great Gambit though.

Gambit like Wolverine? Uh...How? Aside from being a bit of a lone-wolf at times, he's NOTHING like Wolvie:confused:

the two x-men films thus far have established wolverine as a very different character from that of the comic, both physicaly and personality wise.it's Wolverine just different(for example in the comic Wolverine is short and hairy like robin williams)and while his demeanor has been preserved somewhat in the film he's been polished alot for the movie.he's basically the heavy, more like the leader.

Gambit's alot like Wolverine with the exception of claws and Logan's samari mentality.

I don't agree, I think that Gambit is a unique character. Personaly I can see the view of Gambit not being brought in b/c of Rogue, plus she's with Bobby (Iceman) now which is different from the comic but oh well. Now I agree that the X-Men movies have made Wolveriene to be the focus of the films, I mean the trend that their going in, I think that the X-Men movies should have been called Wolveriene and his Amazing Friends (joke on Spider-Man and his Amazinf Friends). But seriously, I never felt like the films were about the team.

I agree, the first was about Wolveriene and how unquie his powers are and then the second was was about his past - which ruined the film for me, could of been good but no they have to change the oirignal storyline for some reason and from the look of X3 it seems it's more about the team, not sure yet.

X3 will more than likely focus mainly on the whole Cyclops/Jean/Wolvie aspect. It has come into play before, however I can see it becoming more important with Jean's return as Phoenix.

Another thing- Do we know for certain weather she will return as Phoenix or Dark Phoenix? I hope they skip the whole "good" Phoenix bit and go straight to the fun stuff, Dark Phoenix. Cant wait to see how she looks, too. Should be very cool, either way.
