I love all 3 BLADE movies-in all it's campiness.
You can not go into watching these movies expecting any high-caliber performace,after all-it is based on a comic book.

Is it weird that I think the second Blade movie is the best of the three? Didn't really get into the first, and I thought the third was horrible. Must be del Toro's direction that drew me in.

No, i agree with you. Loved the new vampire-breed. Very well made and scary looking.

Another thing that i couldnīt stand in "Trinity" was the two young co-characters. They seemed somehow forced into the movie, as like the director had come up to Wesley Snipes and said "Sorry dude, but you are getting to old to carry this one on your own. We have found these 2 kids to replace you in the future. But donīt worry. Weīll give them some great lines to work with.;)".

Another reason for the two young side-kicks in this movie could be this:

The director comes to Wesley and says, "Wesley........ We need more white people in this movie". :D
