I've eaten brains before...obviously, not HUMAN brains - Lamb as I recall...There's not much of a flavour to it, I only really tasted the seasonings. Yep, I'd tried to cook it myself.
It wasn't what I'd call BAD, but...there were texture issues. For the record, it was very soft, and reminded me of fish eyes, and the white stuff that comes outta your lamb bones. The texture was my only real problem. I've also tried heart, sliced, and with the ventricle and fatty stuff removed, it's actually quite good...just like uh, concentrated steak? Quote:

I've eaten chicken hearts and they're tough so I guess a human's could too, I'll never find out though that's for sure.

Y'know what I think is gross, and I dunna care who disagrees with me, this is just the way I feel. GIBLETS. I think giblets in gravy or turkey stuffing is gross, I never liked it, and as soon as I detect one, it's like, "Uh-oh! Someone spoiled the food for me."
I know it's traditional and all, but fer god sakes people!!!! Use your common sense and stuff. Giblets is rubbery and gross and wacky!! |
