No. 2 different low budget horror studios.

Full Moon TRIES to be serious. But ends up being just b-movie fun.
Damn! You beat me to it!

Troma has some great low budget cheesy movies! Redneck Zombies and Rabid Grannies spring to mind... Not to mention the Toxic Avenger series...

Full Moon did the Puppet Master stuff and a lot of crappy stupid shit like The Dead Hate the Living, Vampire Journals, Demonic Toys and The Creeps. (All of which totally sucked ass by the way.)

IMO, Troma is FAAAAR more entertaining.

It would be great if stuff like that was exposed to a larger audience.

What would be better than going out for a few drinks and then catching a midnight showing of one of these type of flicks??

I would love to see people's reactions to a TROMA trailer on network television.

I'd say watching Toxic Avenger on USA 'Up All NIght' is about as close as you're gonna get to this.

It'd be cool though. I'd be there every weekend.

One of the two cinemas in my town will actually let you play any dvds you want on the big screen. Maybe you could negotiate a hire session with yours? I think you need to have 10 heads paying standard movie price where I'm at.
I mean, if you just wanted to experience it YOURSELF among friends...?
You can also hire it out to play x-box and ps2 on the big screen, dunno how that would be though.

*sigh*...That's what I get for never watching television...I really missed out......And, because I don't watch television (except for Adult Swim occasionally, or something that Dustin talks me into watching...like the Mitch Hedberg thing last night) I have no idea if the 'Up All Night' thing is still on...

You should watch Survivor. That's the best show on tv. (Excluding animation.)

Totally twisted! They force all these strangers to work together , live together and generally become friends and then about halfway through the season, the greed sets in and human nature abounds. People lie, cheat and steal their way through their so-called new 'friends' in an attempt to win a million bucks.

God, I love that show.

haha its like someones fucked up concept of a science experiment.

As for up all night, Nope..no longer on. I used to LOVE that shit. They would play alot of good horror, alot of good comedies..etc etc...

TV nowadays SUCKS. Its become more mindless than ever. I HATE..and i cant stress that enough ..HATE reality TV.

If anyone ever saw the original realworlds, those werent so bad, they were honest & contraversial (the perdro and aids season, etc)...BUT NOW....its all sluts and skanks and juiceheads trying to look kool on national tv.

has n e one seen
My super sweet 16...that alone makes me want to move to another country.

Adult swim is the only thing worth watching on tv, and even that is EXTREMELY mindless.....but lets be real here...its funny...and its definitly original.
