I think you should be able to do it. Just make sure to tell your friends that you're trying to quit drinking so they can make it easier on you. It's hard to turn down a beer if it's offered to you. :p

I finally admit I have an alcohol problem, ya know, to where my body actually feels like it's craving it sometimes...and I found out during this year that if I have A drink or so, every few days, I'm good. I don't know if you feel like I do, or have just been abusing it, but for me...if I say I'm going to quit all together for a while, it just leads to bingeing and making myself sick..which of course always sucks. So...Good luck with it.
