I bought my DS the day it came out. I beat the game with 81 stars.. I really suck at it..

Now that PSP is 250 bucks!(thats two consoles!)
I'm really glad I got a DS. The games are cheaper and better. Plus FF3 is one of my favorites.

Everyones says the graphic's for the PSP are sooo great... Piss on that.
I think the DS has GREAT graphics.

The PSP will start out expensive, just like anything, and will drop in price rapidly...I'm watching the psp because I want to see if people actually hop on board the project to make some great games, and see what movies hit the PSP.....If they do it right and have the right support behind them, the PSP will be a better handheld IMO........

But at the same time, it's hard to compare the two because their aim is at different demographic levels....The Nintendo is geared more towards kids (look at all the Pokémon games), where as the psp is gonna be geared more for the 18-35 y/o range.....The Gameboy has a strong foothold on the handheld market and It's nice to see someone is ready to take a stab at that market.....Hopefully the PSP succeeds where others have failed......

Well the whole reason the ds was released is because, when sony announced the psp, nintendo was already getting started on a new gameboy project, that is codenamed "reveloutions" it was going to change the way portable gaming is forever. but it is a project that is going to take 4 or more years to finish. so in order to keep themselves alive in the portable market which the basicaly own, they put eveloutions to the side and whiped up the DS to stay in competiton with sony while they finish eveloution, or reveloution ( im not sure which it is called)

The PSP is going to have dozens of flaws. Watch!

Too say that Nintendo is aimed for just Kids is fucking stupid. Yes they do have a lot of games for Kids. Nintendo is the most creative company.

Any Adult that doesn't like a Mario or Zelda game. Or if they think its too "Kiddy". I say they shouldn't play Video games and should just watch porn.

I'm not saying you think this way. But that's the MAIN argument.The truth is that the PSP isn't doing anything that the PS2 hasn't done for cheaper and better.
