yeah we get them in Toronto too .. they get a dentist to pop in a couple of fangs, sleep in the day and club all night listening to bauhaus etc ... then one day they walk in front of a car because they're convinced it wont hurt them.

(i'm not making this up)

Then again there are people who think they are jesus, napoleon and marilyn monroe ...

the imagination is a wonderful thing ... till it buys you a few years vacation in a padded hotel room.

By the way .. i really have to comment on the love and care that went into the Cradle of Filth poster !! :)

Wouldn't we have to probably all be agnostic in a way? No one knows. Some people have faith that God exists. Others believe he doesn't. Yet other worship Allah or The Devil. But no one really knows...

Just like no one can say for sure what happens when you die. The people with near death experiences probably catch a brief glimpse, but no one is certain how it is, once it's final.

These are the questions that can keep anyone up scratching their head at night. Or at least me....;)

i've never had any faith in that near death experience deal .. who knows whats being concocted in the brain when its running out of oxygen (which is the solitary cause of death)

there could be dreams, memories, chemical fireworks, anything !

we all want to believe in something else .. unless you can come to grips with the fact that here and now is all its gonna be and your only crack at immortality is the memories you leave behind in others - especially your children.

Which is reason enough for me to strive to be a decent person ..
i dont need the fear of some eternal damnation to keep me in line.

Hmm...Ya know, Bwind...This got me thinking (ouch..lol)...Someone was joking about myths and fairy tales here...But, what connotates a myth or fairy tale?...Something or someone who is spoken of, but never seen or heard, a story that is passed down, told about, read about...Sounds kinda like God, huh?

I told Jonathan (The Vampire Freak in the picture back there) that he can't be a Vampire because he isn't immortal.....He said, "Christians aren't immortal either, yet their God is supposed to be"...Just something to ponder, I suppose...

I believe there must be a GOD. How else could you explain the growth of rice, hops and barley.

I was born and raised Catholic but I don't really practice any religion now.
