Rob Zombie probably ripped them off. That whole movie (House of 1000 Corpses) is borrowed material. Rob Zombie couldn't think of something original, come on! Anyone see any similarities to Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

It's one of the better recent low budget zombie efforts, but the constant smart-ass references to other movies and creators are a new menace in modern horror (thanks, Wes!).

I'd like to take these fanboys' tongues out of their cheeks and stick them back in their asses where they belong; don't waste your budgets on trying to make films that look like Romero and Hooper and all your other heroes - do a scary zombie movie for christ's sake and start upsetting the audience again instead of wasting time and atmosphere by letting them in on your clever in-jokes.

Wink wink.
