The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
One of the most monumental and perfect movies of the last 25 years. Spectacular in each and every way, and totally engrossing. Every bit as good as the Stephen King novella.

Tamara ~ a somewhat promising start, but veers into generic teen "horror" very quickly....completely wimps out. A couple of good deaths though.
Close Your Eyes ~ Doesn't always work, but overall, pretty good, and creepy. Wasn't crazy about the end. But up until that point, a very interesting film. And two favorites..... Taxi Driver The Usual Suspects

Very well acted and shot, and the finale was great, but the whole thing felt dull around the edges.
