Bridge to Terabithia

This film was not at all what I expected it to be. For starters, I was expecting it to be good. On top of that, I was under the impression it was a "dark fairy tale" sorta story kind of like Pan's Labrynth or something. It wasn't until I popped it in the DVD player that I learned it was a movie about 2 social rejects that spend all their free time playing in their imagination land. Retarded! There's a 'My Girl'-esque curveball in there, but even that can't help this lame piece of shit. I suppose if you knew what you were getting into instead of expecting something completely different than what you got, you may like it better than me, but I'd have a hard time recommending this one to anyone except little kids. The acting, directing and FX were all good, but I just thought the story was stupid as can be.

The Relic (1997)

Pretty damn fun, but the book left so much more potential. The gore was crazy-good, though.

Robocop 3.
Totally disappointing after the first two sleek films.
There was no use wasting the Nancy Allen character, Officer Lewis, right at the start.
And the cyborg ninjas and Robocop flying? A total downer.
It is indeed a shame to see the promising franchise give out such a bad sequel.

The King Kong remake with Jessica Lange and Jeff Bridges. I remember loving it as a kid, but man is it cheesy. Jessica, however, is still the sexiest woman to ever be captured on film. Just wow.

Waiting

As dumb as it is, it's painfully accurate. Anyone who has ever waited tables in a corporate cookie-cutter restaurant will see the truth in the silliness. I laughed.

5/10 unless stoned, then it's more like 7/10
