Just watched
John Carpenter: The Man and his Movies Interesting documentary. Nothing breakthrough, but some really good interviews with Kurt Russell, Jamie Lee and others. B and Going to Pieces: The Rise and Fall of the Slasher Film Excellent documentary! Tons of gore, a great history lesson, well directed and an excellent addition to any slasher fan's library. A |

Blood Simple
The Coen Bros. first film. Still great fun to watch, their style was so much more Sam Raimi-(their friend & mentor)-esque back then. A |

Ultraviolet
Corny and obviously made for the money, but.. I liked it, the fight scenes were sufficient and cool, as well as the weaponry, so, i'll give it a decent... 6.5/10
