Halloween. I don't really consider Army of Darkness to be a true horror film, although I like it a lot. But if we're voting for "best horror", then Halloween wins out of these two.

i love both of these films... and i DO consider army of darkness to be horror... as there are MANY subgenres within horror that this fits...
i'm going to go with halloween.. it spawned the everlasting slasher... there were slashers before michael... but they weren't everlasting
