This project has been on the burners for such a long time, it's a shame we haven't sat down together to nail the Top 100 yet. Looking back through the thread and adding all the later suggestions, we have a final master/massive list of 251 recommendations (taking out the duplicates and fine-proofing the entries). What I want from all of you, is to send me a list of your chosen Top 20 games from this list which, in your opinion, is a must-play game for you. As always, more recs are always welcome. (Since we had a long gap from the last post above, maybe we are missing out on some quality games which you might have happened to chance by in the meanwhile) Here we go -
Let's do this and finalise the 100. It's been a long time coming and it deserves it's place in HDC's Stickied threads. I am finalising my 20 from the above right now.

Looking through the list, I think we forgot some good ones - Scratches (really fantastic atmospheric horror) Black Mirror Sanitarium (I loved this!) Amber: Journeys Beyond (top horror gameplay, if there ever was one) Some new ones - Resident Evil 5 Bioshock 2 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Shadow of Chernobyl Penumbra: Black Plague ...off the top of my head. Adding them to the master list above.

I'm sure you're going to get bombarded with games that have been released since December 2009 that should make the list.
Red Dead Redemption immediately springs to mind.

Can't believe no one mentioned Night Trap for the Mega CD first game were you where a serial killer setting traps for the victims.
Also Tales Of Phantasia Sword Of Vermillion Shining Force 2 (my fave horror game of all time) Shining Force 3 Shining In The Darkness Galahad Secrets Of Mana

Without reading the entire thread, are PC games being considered? If so, World of Warcraft and the Total War series are landmark games. If not, apologies for my laziness!:)

I talked to my son, and he picked his 20 from the list. He had plenty of recommendations, but I wasn't 100% sure if the games had to be horror related. Let me know, and I'll get his recs down.
