THRACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!

The plasma bolt came screaming through the branches of the tree Zero was hanging on and exploded with all it's might on Zero's chest, making him lose his balance and go flying towards the ground!

IT glared at the shooter, just as Weapon X turned his right arm towards IT. His plasma cannon was already aimed directly at IT's head, at the centre of the pulsating blue orb.

THRACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!

The plasma bolt flew and thundered straight into IT's head orb, exploding with the energy of a million stars. IT suddenly staggered in mid-air, his head orb flickering once.

Yes! That's it! The thought screamed through Weapon X's head.

Almost immediately, his plasma cannon shaped up to fire it's final round. And Weapon X let it fly.

THRACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!

The second bolt screamed through the air, exploding again on the pulsating orb, making it flicker badly yet again! IT staggered again, swirling slightly towards the ground.

Zero! Are you seeing this?! The words burned into Weapon X's mind, but he couldn't turn around to check on his fellow Finalist's plight. He had to keep going.

He immediately dropped his plasma cannon and conjured up his FIREBALL spell to train it on IT, but IT had disappeared!!

Weapon X's eyes scanned the area wildly for a moment, just as a groan from the bushes on his right diverted his attention. Still in dread of the BFG, and not sure if Zero realised that the plasma cannon shot had actually saved him from IT's wrath, Weapon X trained his already-conjured FIREBALL at the red furry thing inside the bushes.

BRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!

The Fireball had a short distance to fly. Zero, already weakened somewhat by the plasma bolt, never had the chance to even think of anything as the Fireball blasted on his chest, making him go flying backwards, his fur up in flames! He thundered onto the stem of a thick tree and fell down heavily, trying to douse the flames with his HPs. Zero rolled backwards deliberately, down a slope to move out of Weapon X's sights.

A huge blast from up ahead made Weapon X swing around and jump to his right at the same instant, to dodge twin plasma cannon bolts which had flew in his direction. Weapon X had immediately conjured up another FIREBALL spell, and it roared towards IT's pulsating orb yet again!

BRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!

The Fireball blasted on IT's orb, making IT swirl hard. The orb flickered madly this time, being struck for the third time. IT roared in pain and anger, and turned it's glowing eyes directly at Weapon X, who was reaching at his shotgun.

"TOO LATE!" IT's voice boomed in the entire region.

SSSSSMMMMMKKKKKTTTTT!!!!!

The trio of pulsating, flaming skulls burned a streak through the air as they thundered towards the blue orb on IT's head, exploding with the might of an absolute bomb and rocking IT badly. Weapon X turned around, eyes widened in wonder and surprise.

"Need some help?", Zero smiled weakly before gritting his teeth.

Weapon X turned back towards IT, conjuring up his final FIREBALL spell. He didn't let IT recover for even a moment.

BRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!

The Fireball almost burnt a hole through IT's orb, and IT careened wildly towards the ground. His orb was now a naked target, and Zero took over.

SSSSSMMMMMKKKKKTTTTT!!!!!

SSSSSMMMMMKKKKKTTTTT!!!!!

The extremely destructive Skullstorm spells thundered through the air, burning their way into IT's orb, making it change it's colors - from blue, into bright green, into glowing red, and finally a dim yellow. IT fell on the ground, the light around him dimming into a low glow, as a yellow-green liquid dripped out of IT's nostrils.

Now, the KO, Zero thought fiercely. The IMMOBILIZER suddenly sprung into his palm. And Zero let it fly, straight at IT's dimming orb.

BHRACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!

The moment the Immobilizer captured IT in it's invisible shell, IT's eyes widened. IT gasped for a moment as if grabbing for it's breath, as the spell sucked IT's final breaths. IT roared.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" The inhuman cry pierced through the whole Zone, shaking it everywhere.

IT's cry kept echoing as IT stood still for a moment, just before IT's body exploded into a million pieces of shining, pulsating light!!!



IT THE TRAVELER IS DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!




Zero let out a loud yell of victorious delight, but the sudden sound of Weapon X's voice made him swirl around.

"Zero!" Weapon X's voice was cold, yet filled with a tinge of admiration. He had the shotgun in his hand.

Zero stood very still, without turning. He spoke slowly, making the words sink into Weapon X's ears one by one.

"I...didn't...forget...you, FRIEND!" Zero's voice was ominously calm as he turned to face Weapon X. And Weapon X held his breath for one last moment.

For Zero held the BFG 9000.

BBBBBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLLRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!


The huge blue plasma shell burnt through the scene in front of Zero, burning through grasses, trees, leaves, branches, rocks, water, everything. Weapon X was dust even before his brain had a chance to realise it.




WEAPON X IS DEAD!!!!!!!




Zero dropped the BFG 9000. Something broke through the stillness of the sky above him, and a figure fell towards the ground and thudded heavily on it.

"AT LAST! FREEDOM!! FINALLY!!! FOREVER!!!!" The figure yelled as soon as he got up. Zero squinted at him to see more clearly and instantly recognised who it was.

It was _____V_____!


And his mouth was wide open in surprise!


"YOU! YOU SURVIVED?!!!!" ___V___ was staring at Zero in disbelief.

"Who else did you expect? Elvis?" Zero smirked at _____V_____.


A loud rumble started all over the Zone and the ground started to shake. Rocks dislodged from their places and rolled downwards, some of them hurtling towards the two.

"Come on! Quick! We must hurry!" ___V___'s voice was desperate.

The two jumped through the bushes and ran towards the gates, just as the ground started erupting below them and huge gushes of molten lava blasted through, burning everything around it.

"Run, run, run!" Zero urged ___V___ on.

"Follow me". ____V___'s voice had a steely determination in it, nodding forward.

Zero followed ___V___'s gaze.

Standing in the distance on a huge helipad, was a helicopter.

EPILOGUE:


"Aren't you forgetting something?" Zero was eagerly inquisitive.

___V___ looked around from checking on Dara & Hammerfan. The huge Battle Royale island was receding in the distance, rocked by eruptions and explosions as it continued to sink into the ocean.

"Nope, I didn't. In fact," ___V___ pulled out a bag from the storage section behind him,"I was planning on giving it to you as soon as we landed."

Out came the shining Battle Royale crown. ___V___ was smiling as he crowned the redhead for the second time. He tipped his head, apparently taking a small bow.

Zero saw the admiration in ___V___'s eyes and smiled.

"Hail to the king! Hail to the Simian king, indeed!" ___V___'s words rang out.

Zero's smile froze midway for a moment.

"Say ___V___, now that IT's history, are you sure we won't have Galactus coming to hold HDC hostage and force us into a cooking contest or something?"

___V___'s eyes widened in alarm for a moment, but then shrunk immediately as his mouth opened for peals of laughter. Zero's seriousness was gone as soon as it had come, and he joined in the hearty laughter which rocked the helicopter.
