Here we go again- an absolute classic being shut out by a populace with an inadequate education in film history.
Melvyn Douglas, Raymond Massey, Charles Laughton and KARLOFF. Any ONE of then could outact any 30 of today's actors- and this film has ALL FOUR. No matter what the popular vote says, The Old Dark House is far and away the superior film.
