The 8th list for the 30s has come in, thank you Chronogrl. You can submit your choices for the 20s as well. (same for you, Despare, love to see your list of the 20s as well)

Still eagerly awaiting The Villain and Straker's lists, as well as anyone else's who is willing to submit one. I am extending this till the 6th of January, when we have our first peek at the 40s, before starting our debate on the first era of horror - 1897 to 1949.

Hmmm... Not sure if I've seen that many from the 20s, which is why I didn't resubmit it before. Let me check again. I was surprised at how many I had seen from the 30s.

To everyone who may be struggling with that decade (and the earlier films) - You don't necessarily have to have seen the movies you pick - as V said earlier in the thread - you can just have read about many of these films and their inpact on horror. Some though are public domain and are still widely available to watch on the internet. But some haven't survived and are completely lost but that shouldn't exclude them-they still had a huge impact on the horror genre as a whole.
