Just seemed to me like he wanted to put as much sick shit in as possible, at the expense of everything else. The plot was shit, made even worse by the utterly pointless method of telling the story. And just look at the lead actor...ouch. Ouch.

Gore, violence, torture and all that other "disturbing" content has it's place, for sure...but it cant hold up a movie on it's own.

Now that I think about it, I actually think I enjoyed Homecoming a bit more, so you're right...this isnt the 2nd weakest:p

Same with me. I've only seen 4 episodes of the first season and I wasn't impressed in the least. However, the previews for season 2 do look damn good. I'll definitely be in front of mt TV on friday.

Well only two more to come out now on DVD for the first season. Yes season two looks pretty kick ass, I heard it was all monsters this season, instead of naked female killers !

explain something to me: why does everyone hate homecoming so much ? i enjoyed it a lot. one of my favorite episodes, for a very different reason than the others.

I never said that I hated it. I really enjoyed it, just not as much as most of the rest of the series.

It was really original idea, and pretty well executed...the politics turned me off of it a bit though. Nothing wrong with using a horror film to make a point, but this one was WAY to blatant and worn out IMO.

Cool The New Season

I am definately excited about the upcoming season starting on Friday October 27th. With each installment we will get to see another creative vision of the legends of modern horror. Each one will be unique and objectively creepy.... taking us into a world of terror. With me being such a fan of Egdar Allan Poe ; I am eagerly waiting for Showtime to air "The Black Cat". It will be under the direction of Stuart Gordon ("The Re-Animator") and Jeffrey Combs starring in will air sometime during this season.

I found "Homecoming" pretty damn corny, actually.
