Any opinions on that Carrie re-make?..
I thought it was ok.. The girl was too pretty. Not creepy looking like Sissy Spacek.. Plus, it would've been cool if they had her play the mom in the re-make.. I did like the visual effects though.. Not too shabby!

I enjoyed it..........I loved the opening scene and Julianne Moore played a pretty convincing crazy mother. I really liked what they did with her character in this movie...The cutting...that was badass. I almost think that I liked it so much because they stuck to the original....basically word for word. I hate change...It also just made me want to watch the original....soooooo.
Carrie was too pretty. If I remember correctly...in the book...she's overweight and pimply. Why can't we have "unattractive" people in films? Anyway. The girl who portrayed her did a pretty good job for such a young actress. I'd give it a 5 out of 10.

The trailer told me what I needed to know...it's exactly the same and they don't care who knows. I'll keep those 90 minutes for me this time.
