Scary Sessions

"Session 9." This came out a few years ago... it must have been direct-to-video... I don't remember much publicity about it. I thought this was going to be one of those movies that has a good scary locations and uses that to carry the movie. Well, it was packaged with great cinematography, atmosphere, and a great story. There where scenes that made me so glad I was not home alone.... creeeepy!

When I was younger, "Amityville II: The Possession" spooked me a little.

I just have to comment on some of these:

Evil_Blonde- If Sleepy Hollow was scary to you, you need to see Pet Sematary, I have never seen someone who wasnt scared by that. The other choices are okay tho :)

troymello- I am planning on renting Session 9 tomorrow, its nice to see someone else who has heard of it.

The Exorcist, IMO

I would probably agree that "The Shining" scared me more than "The Exorcist."

In "The Exorcist," most of the time I was just saying "wow, that looked cool!"-- but it wasn't really scaring me. (This was at the age of 8 or 9.) However, I would have to defend "The Exorcist" a little and say I thought it was a little creepy BEFORE the possession. Not knowing what was going on was more scary. The attic door at my house was right outside my bedroom-- for several nights after watching, I kept thinking I was hearing noises in the attic, too!

Brilliant movie! Its such a shame that stuff like this goes straight to video, when the cinema's are packed with shite teen-orientated action/horror.

Oooooh scary

When I was young John Carpenter's "The THING" scarred the crap outta me, I've still seen it make people in there late teens jumps so I'd say it's a pretty good horror movie. And Goerge Romero's "Dawn of the Dead" gave me nightmares for months when I was 8.
