Have to agree with those who mentioned Cube. Nice little visual pun to open the movie.
In terms of death sequences (entire scene leading up to their death), the opening scenes of Scream and Scream 2 were great, with Jada Pinkett's slightly more disturbing than Drew's.

A LOT of my fav kill scenes come from JASON X:
~when he freezes that chicks head in liquid nitrogen and smashes it ~when that guy falls on that spiral screw thing and you get to see him twist all the way down it ~when he beats the girls in their sleeping bags Love that movie! :D

let's hand it to jason for one thing-creative death scenes! i forgot about the one in final chapter where crispin glover is asking teddy where the cork screw is and jason sticks it in his hand then gets him in the side of the head w/ a meat clever ;) very nice! cripsin was sooo funny in that movie. he's crazy! i love him.
