Oh Corona...why oh why couldn't you answer my question?
Well...here's a little something just for you. Hi friend. Reading your thread honestly made me stop and think for a moment of the sound of when you jump in the 16-bit classic, Sonic the hedgehog. Then I thought of the music that plays when you die in wonderboy, and the sound of mario collecting numerous coins. Then, I started wondering why so many 8 and 16 bit platformer characters kinda bounced, before falling down the bottom of the screen, every time they die - I mean, are they making a last ditch effort to jump outta hell, or somethin'?...I then momentarily paused to think of the catering job I'm doing today, then got back on track, and wondered if I'll bounce into the ground, and have a nippy little tune play when I die...and finally, I realised I'd forgotten what you were talking about.
